8 of us went to Peppercorns for dinner on a Friday night. The service was attentive but not overdone, they also didn’t rush us which I really appreciated. We had wine, cocktails, appies, dinner and dessert. Everything was delicious. A few of us had steak and all raved at how perfectly they were cooked and how creamy the mashed potatoes were. My father in law had his heart set on Chicken Fettucini Alfredo as it is listed on a menu somewhere online, turns out they have updated their menu and while it isn’t on it anymore, they happily made it for him! Can’t wait to go back soon!

Went for dinner for a birthday here, we ordered a LOT of food. We started with the calamari bruschetta and some prawn puff pastry dish, all DELICIOUS. Out of the four mains we had the lobster and seafood dish with coconut cream sauce was amazing but nothing could top the chicken curry. Amazing flavour not the type you normally get from anywhere but an Indian restaurant. The lobster mac and cheese was good but sadly no lobster chunks to be found which would have made it worth the price and less flat. Finished with the baileys cheesecake and teas. The only reason this restaurant doesn’t get a 5 is the slow service. There was only one waiter, one bartender and one person clearing plates. The food came out timely, the down side was the slow service. Need more hands on FOH staff

Little gem I wish we had tried sooner! Beautifully plated items, wonderful staff. Price point is a bit high, but the portions are great. I understand how it feels a bit strange in terms of fine dining versus casual. Diners varied in attire from holiday evening outfits to jeans and hoodies. The only thing I would change is the large amount of seafood on the menu…but I wouldn’t docknany points for that as it is really a very personal preference.

Hubby and I recently moved to Airdrie, and we are trying out the restaurants in town. We had called the day before to get reservations, as we wanted to get a nice table with a view, as we were celebrating our anniversary. When we arrived, we were greeted quickly, unfortunately though someone never wrote our reservation down so we got stuck in the middle of the restaurant.Waitresses were great, it wasn’t too busy when we arrived so we got our drinks and order in fairly quick. Both my hubby and I ordered their special, lobster and steak. Portions were very similar to what you would get in a higher end restaurant, so we sorted of expected that. Onto the food and drinks. First off, not large selection of wine’s by the glass, although the one the waitress mentioned was very good. As for the food, not impressed. We both asked for our steaks medium, and they came well done. For the price of the meal, I should have expected it to be top notch. If I hadn’t added fresh pepper, the steak would have tasted bland. The dessert was homemade, and it was even below my standards of what it should have been like. The restaurant goes for a high end feel, with a beer budget quality of food. Likely won’t be going back, but I rated it 2.5 for the service.

I went for my first time last night after my hubby raving about it to me for years. I wasn’t too impressed. The calamari was great, wine & coffee was great but it ended there….The entres were sub par, plain steamed rice, not too much flavor, the chocolate molten cake tasted like boxed cake and was barely warm. I think for a restaurant trying to be high end they need to put more effort into their food. It doesn’t take a lot to make something ordinary taste extraordinary. Definetly make your own desserts or get a bakery to make them becuase the molten cake was probaly the worst Dessert I’ve had. Wish I could say we will be back, but for those prices for the quality of food we will unfortunately not be back.

Excellent location, food and service. On Sunday, May 5, 2015 my wife, our daughter and her husband and I visited this establishment for the first time. The location and view overlooking a creek and pond with wildlife was excellent to say the least as was the service and food. I had a basa prawn dish and my wife and son in law had a chicken pasta dish while my daughter and a salmon dish and we had appetizers as well. The meal was fantastic and I will certainly return to this business any time. I did not see a childrens menu and our dinner was in the total of $150 range for the four of us but worth it. A very mice place to visit for those special occasions and to be treated special.
