Pour Airdrie: Alberta Health Services should be calling you soon. You made me ill! Got food poisoning from your fish and chips!!! Stopped eating fish after realizing it was raw, and sent it back. Didn’t ask for another meal to replace it because it’s obvious I can’t trust you guys. Owner Sab Matalo you should be ashamed!!! Puked my guts out and crapped for hours. Felt bad for the server, a small brown haired girl who looked like she was crying.
Went to the POUR Evanston for the second time – very unimpressed. Our server Evie was so rude. Broccoli on veggie platter was brown, my dad tried to order 2 different beers, both were out of stock. I never got a refill on my pop. Nachos were average, salsa sucked. On a positive note, patio was nice! This location is not highly recommended.
I finally had a chance to post a review of this place, as I wanted to try it several times before making a solid and fair review. I love the new atmosphere since they took over from Dicks which was a nasty, dumping ground. Looks like they put decent money into their place.Although there has been a few times where my service was lacking, most of the time I get great and genuinely attentive service. Now that I know the servers, I try to sit in Siuling’s, Jades or Georgette’s section as they are super and always look after our table. They are very friendly and efficient.As for the food, I have yet to experience a bad meal and like the fact that almost everything is made in house. Some of my favorites are the thai pork skewers, Salmon Waldorf salad, Fish tacos and of course the pizza is excellent. ( I don’t need to go into vast detail of critiquing each ingredient of the items).The beer selection is amazing, but I am a wine drinker. I do enjoy their selection and quality of wine but a few more options would be nice. . I feel the prices are reasonable for both food and drink.I will continue to eat and drink here. I have yet to come in on weekends for breakfast but look forward to trying it. I have a friend who lives in Evanston who meets me here. She is excited that Pour is opening in her community soon and I am looking forward to trying that location to compare.
