It’s a nice, classy place to have brunch, have a few drinks, or to have lunch or dinner. This is not the first place in my mind when it comes to going to a restaurant or to have a drink, but usually my friends insist or suggest this place when we dine in the Windermere area. Food can be expensive here but the portions make up for it. In terms of taste, I enjoyed brunch here before, and I also enjoyed the happy hour items such as calamari and tuna tacos. The dry ribs were a little too dry for me and the nachos were just the typically burnt type of nachos. I feel like no one can really make good bar nachos anymore, maybe Brewsters in Summerside. I think this is a natural, safe, default place for everyone to come to. If you are not that adventurous and don’t want to take risks, you’ve probably be here already. For all you foodies out there, you’ll probably think it’s average but I’m sure your friends will suck you into this vortex one day and it’s not all that bad.
Yet another average chain pub/bar. Service is slow and inattentive. Drinks ordered for the table take 20 min to arrive even though bar is not busy. Table had to ask twice for the bill. One appetizer for the table ordered. Out of the kitchen pretty fast. Presented with sauce and wrapped chop sticks. Sauce lacks flavor.
Obviously this place has improved since opening ladt year – based on the bad reviews. I went with 2 friends last night and everything was great. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. I had the Dragon Bowl and it was amazing! The flavour was so fantastic, I are the whole bowl. Easily one of the best restaurant meals I’ve had in Edmonton.
Get the Oreo cheesecake jar. That’s all you need to know. So rich and creamy. Worth the calories! We also really enjoy the potato crusted halibut, however ask for a different side than the rice as it’s always a bit over cooked.
Good for dessert and drinks. Food was acceptable, wings were not a good deal. Service could be better. The only thing i havent tried is the sushi and I have no motivation to try. Come for breakfast.
waited 25 mins to be seated. the receptionist was nice. server was ok. she asked if we want to box the food, but we were still working on it, felt rushed. food was not that good. i think im not going back here again.
Were seated with menus and asked for a high chair. The waitress said she would go and get one. We sat for 30 min. No one came to take our drink orders or food orders. And no high chair ever came. Our little one was getting hungry and antsy so we left. No one even noticed. Poor service!
