The staff is super friendly and the food is DELICIOUS! They are on the pricier side of things but with the coupons in the mail its a very well priced establishment. The food is definitely worth the original price though. My personal favourite is the spicy sriracha burger, its the perfect amount of spice and crispiness. To the review below, i think what might have happened is that you ordered a specialty burger, as some of the specialty burgers don’t actually come with all the sides and veggies i.e. the spicy sriracha burger. I’d recommend this place to anyone out there looking for a ncie clean place to eat an old school burger with real meat and real toppings. 5/5 for sure.
I Ordered a burger for pick up, only to get home and realize there are no veggies or sauce in the burger, just a patty (thats one way to cut down cost). So I put in my own veggies and start eating and turns out the patty is raw as well…..
Service was good. Food is very overpriced and natural cuts fries are not fresh cuts fries just frozen fries with skin. Not sure what makes themfamous as per their advertisement or their pics. Burger was good although pricey. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back as this chain is similar to all the other burger joints.
Boardwalk has become a go-to stop for me if I want something different to fill my fast food cravings. There’s not a lack of new burger joints in Calgary these days and as a franchise, Boardwalk has a good brand behind them and operate pretty smoothly.I actually like the soft, moist bun on the juicy burger. Its a nice compliment that makes the burger almost melt in your mouth with the juicy ground beef. Their special Truffle Burger with mushrooms, was quite enjoyable. Pretty salty, but a nice mild truffle flavour with soft grilled mushrooms covered in cheese. If you like fries covered in sauces, Boardwalk has some good options available as well. They’re loaded so if you don’t eat them fast everything becomes a soggy mess (I wouldn’t get them to go – eat them on site), but the flavours are pretty good. The Jalapeno Cheddar Fries are huge and loaded with cheese. The jalapenos give it a nice mild kick, but nothing overwhelming.Service is quick and the staff behind the counter is often young, but professional enough to get food cooked quickly. It’s never busy when I go in the evenings so it’s a nice perk to get in and out easily, just don’t know if they’ll survive without a lot of customers and hidden in a side street of Crowfoot Crossing.
I’m torn on this place. It’s VERY expensive, but if you have a 20% off coupon that comes in the mail, it’s half decently priced. The kids meal is kinda a joke.Grilled cheese or chicken tenders, but….at a place that promotes their burgers, there was not one to choose from for the kids.Staff were decent.Food tasted amazing.
Dry burger staff chili on hard fries bleach they dont even use shredded cheese its squeeze bottle cheese. There was so much mayo on the burger I had to scrap it off. I like a little bit i dont need a jar of mayo to cover how dry and over salted the meat is.
Boring burgers. They SOUND good on the menu, but that’s as far as the excitement goes. You spend 50% more for a burger that tastes the same as Wendy’s. Disappointed.
