How should I start? …if you are craving Italian… Do not go and Do not waste your money. You are better off buying frozen pasta in your ur grocery. The food reminds me of the food served in recess in kindergarten. You know when it looks like the adult version of the food but it is no where close.
The food is ok, nothing special. The service is good & fast but too fast. We were so rushed, we had barely started our appetizer when the main food came out. They didnt apologize or bring our food back they just sorta threw it down. They didnt seem to be concerned at all when I said we werent ready for our meal yet, they just pushed all the plates toward my mom and left. Terrible service.
Decent, reasonably affordable Italian, but certainly not the best in Calgary. All pastas are $8.99 on Sundays, which is definitely a good deal considering the generous portions. I got the Fettucine Primavera with a tomato sauce – overall, it was a hearty but mediocre dish. The sauce was decently flavourful, but the pasta was slightly undercooked and the selection of vegetables was a little sad (I got mostly celery with about five mushrooms and some carrot). My friend got the Fettucine Alfredo, which he really enjoyed despite finding the pasta a little overdone. My other friend got the Vitello Con Funghi ($18.00), which he absolutely loved (particularly the potatoes). It could be the mains are slightly better quality than the pasta. Worth checking out if you’re in the area.
