Delicious the staff here are exceptionally friendly. We had a young man still in high school and he was professional, courteous and kind. We will be returning based on his attitude alone ! We tried the chicken Cesar wraps they were loaded and delicious. Made perfect ! Loved the hot sauce too. Would love to return and try some donairs or shawarmas.
Been here 2 times and can’t wait for the 3rd,great and friendly staff, they have wonderful Donairs packed with flavour, terrific garlic sauce sandwiched between thick slices of donair beef with very crisp tangy turnip and tomatoes with crunchy lettuce.
The food is fantastic. The service was even better. Really friendly ownership that desires to go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your experience. And we definitely did! Can’t recommend enough.
Saw this place before while driving & thought of giving it a try. Very tidy & spacious sitting area. I found that there are too many items on their menu & a bit expensive for the quality, quantity & presentation of food. My boyfriend got the donair. He said it was okay. I got the chicken shawrma platter. Presentation of food was awful. Rice was undercooked. I saw her stirring the rice in the cooker. She should have told me it would take some time but instead put the rice on my plate. I didn’t have a choice of salad. The pickled raddish was dry & I think the dill was smelling. The only thing I liked on the plate was the chicken & garlic sauce. Cost me about $14 with no pop. Before leaving I was asked how the food was & I told her my thoughts. No apologies or anything. Even though it’s close to where I live, I would rather make the effort to go to Jerusalem shawrma.
Went here yesterday for lunch and it wasn’t too busy, and I got my food right away.Ordered the beef donair Mediterranean plate. Comes with hummus, rice, assorted veggies, tabouli, beef donair, sauce and side of pita.I thought it tasted different. I’ve had my fair share of these platters around Calgary, and this one tastes different… The rice, maybe, had cinnamon in it ? (Please correct me if I’m wrong). The donair was delicious. And the veggies were fresh, but not real fan, wasn’t dressed in anything. The tabouli was too acidic for my liking. The lady that served me was exceptional, she clarified the meat I had ordered. As I was paying she gave me a side of the sweet sauce to try, bc she recommended it. I thought it was a little pricey compared to other places in Calgary.I’ll give this place another shot, maybe My tastebuds are not experienced enough.
Excellent shawarmas; though they do have a ribeye option that is cooked on order, we actually enjoyed the donair meat better. Huuuuge shawarmas for a reasonable price with very fresh ingredients. Very good value for the price.
Really flavourful shwarmas. The staff are really friendly and it tastes very authentic here. Nice to have a delicious Lebanese quick serve in the far northwest of the city.
