Love the satay beef pho! The broth is tasty; it's got a little kick but I wouldn't call it spicy. The beef isn't the most tender but it gets the job d…

This place opened up in 1999 — when the Y2K scare was going on, does anyone remember? Hard to believe it’s been 17 years. That tells you all you need to know. That the food is actually decent. All pho, all the time
Went here New Years Eve & got some take out. We ordered a bunch of food we ordered thegrilled porkdumplings $8.50, prawn salad rolls $3.95, Satay chicken pho $9.50 & Vermicelli with Lemongrass Prawns $9.75. The food was very sub par the satay chicken pho’s broth was pretty bland the salad rolls we actually got the wrong order got the chicken salad rolls insteadof theprawns& the chicken was very dry. My wife said the vermicelli dish was ok& the dumplings whereok but nothing special. Iwould recommend going somewhere else there are some very good Vietnamese restaurants in the area.
Tried this location as I’m a huge Mega fan of the Chinatown location. So I figured this place could only be better or worse. And it was not on the same level as the Chinatown location. Seafood sate was nothing to brag about. It was average at best
The food at this restaurant was good and I was pretty happy with the value here as well. My rice and pork chop dish was very flavourful when compared to most Vietnamese places in Calgary. The only negative aspect was the amount of seafood in the seafood noodle soup: I really wish there was less imitation crab and more shrimp/fish/squid. Other than the service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. It’s a nice little place to go for a fairly cheap meal.
Saigon Y2K has the regular selection of Vietnamese food. I eat here often and find it to be quite good. The proportions are large and the prices are good.
Pretty good Vietnamese food. They have the regular selection of pho, noodle bowls and stir fry. Service was friendly as food prepared quickly. Well priced. Would come back again. Good stop if you’re in the area.
This is at most mediocre, we got delivery and they forgot our drinks for the 2nd time, as well took about an hour and 20 mins for delivery, not my favorite, you guys can do waaay better. Like 10 years ago better.
