Service off the bat was wonderful. I have 3 words: fried. Feta. Balls. So delicious! I had their donair pita. Pita itself was so pillowy, and the meat was well seasoned.
It’s a fairly quiet restaurant in Banff, nice and formal decor. Food is good but not that great based on my first time experience, i don’t feel particularly like I want to go back. But I think it deserves 3.8.
This was a great food experience, the drinks were fantastic, and the service was prompt. We had the calamari, spanakopita and the moussaka and all of it was fresh and made in house. Beautifully seasoned Greek comfort food.
One of the best restaurants in Banff! I have been here several times & haven’t been disappointed. There usually isn’t a long wait time, and service is great. My favorite dish is the lamb, which is extremely tender, or the baklava cheese cake. On one occasion our baklava was very burnt, and it was taken off our bill. Will continue to return when we visit banff.
Had a pulled lamb gyro with greek fries and calamari gyro with Athenian salad. Gyros were good, not the best calamari but not bad either. Artichokes on the lamb was a nice touch. Side Salad was small and fairly boring, only had lettuce and a couple tomatoes pieces and olives. Good dressing though. Greek fries were a real delight. Potato wedges Drizzled in sauce, herbs, feta and green onions and served with spicy mayo dip. Maybe we just didn’t get the right menu items because although our food was good it was not the mind-blowing experience other reviews had us expecting.
I always find myself at this restaurant every time I’m in Banff. Definitely a place you must try if you’re in town.Service here has been a hit or miss. I’ve come here and have had a great experience with the service or pretty much have had non-existant service. Good thing the food is great. My favourite thing on the menu so far is the Fried Feta Balls. Literally sooo good. It’s pretty much deep fried cheese… how can you go wrong. Being vegetarian I’m always so limited with my food choices but they had a section for vegetarian dishes which was nice. I’ve been coming to Banff quite often and have been slowly making my way down the list.I remember coming here last year when I ate meat, and the chicken souvlaki was amazing as well. The chicken tasted fresh right off the grill, it was easy to chew and not oily. It was great for a light healthy lunch. So I would definitely recommend if you’re into that.Restaurant is large and clean. They have belly dancers a couple times a week which I guess is cool, but I don’t really care for it.Overall, this place is great & I think my favourite restaurant in Banff!
We came here once 3 years ago on our honeymoon and had such an amazing experience, so we decided to come back for our anniversary today. The service was great and the food was still so delicious. One my our favourite places in Banff for sure.
