Very much feel of over priced tourist focusTold out of a selected 150 $ wine. Tried up sale to 250$Oysters Rockefeller only 4 shells not sure if even 4 tiny oysters present 10 oz prime. Over cooked If that was 10z someone had their finger on the scale Waiter fine and friendly but meals not so much !
This place was super busy so reservations is highly recommended. The server explained the menu in great detail and appeared to be super passionate about the selection. Knew in depth on where the beef came from, feeding regimens and quality. The table chose the dry aged rib eye with table side salad. You are warned that sides are extra… I opted to save a bit of $ and grabbed the steak frites…almost a surf and turf style served on a chopping board for presentation. Meat was cooked well, fries seasoned well… overall, if you are steak lover and want a dry aged or wagyu style beef…this is the place to find it in Banff. Like with all things in Banff expect to wait a little longer and pay a little more….the service was excellent though.
