Cute little shop on the main strip in Banff! Tried the brownie icecream, it was excellent, great big chunks of brownie and chocolate swirls, crisp fresh cone too. Best part may be all of their shirts, so many cow puns.
The milk taste is strong with this one.I f you like overly sugared ice creams, you should give this one a pass. I for one, LOVED it for the strong dairy taste it has. The shop itself has some pretty cute cow stuff too. Try the Gooey Mooey or the other weird sounding stuff (they have descriptions of what they taste like there and you could always sample). I ordered weird stuff that I can’t remember the name of at all but it was delicious so I will be going back soon as I can!
It is not the best ice cream as they claim it is. We had their Mooyork Cheese cake Ice cream and Wowie cowie Ice cream. It was just a normal Ice cream, definitely not the best. We had fun there. Dont get your hope up too high.
Incomparable to any other ice cream, poet gooey texture which sounds weird but is delicious and multiple flavours to choose from, will definitely be back for more!
The best ice cream in Canada! Made with 16% milk fat! I would recommend trying the Gooey Mooey. The shop also has quirky cow related memorabilia 🙂
Great little ice cream shop on Banff Avenue. The place itself has a banner that says Canada’s Ice Cream, so you can’t miss it. Originally from Prince Edward Island, the place is apparently one of the best places in the world to get ice cream? On the front of the store, you’ll find a list that says just that, along with other ice cream parlors in the world.Their most famous flavor is apparently the PEI Strawberry that is made in house at the store. We obviously had to give that a try along with the cookies n cream, my go-to ice cream flavor. The PEI Strawberry was soft, creamy, and had some nice strawberry pieces within. The cookies n cream was mainly vanilla ice cream, but they had huge chunks of Oreo so can’t complain either.I can see why Cows is good ice cream, but best in the world? I’m no ice cream connoisseur, so I have no say, but it is damn good ice cream. They have a big enough fan base as well for them to be able to sell memorabilia and souvenirs, all related to the store. YAHH ICE CREAM AND COWS!! i tried their wowie cowie which was vanilla, toffee, chocolate chunks and WOWIE INDEED it was very good!! their staff was SUPER FRIENDLY!! kinda pricey but its a tourist location so a business gotta do what they gotta do and take advantage of that. i wanted to buy all their cow swag but its hella expensive.. its ok i already have my cow onesie
