Nice place for dinner and spending time with your friends after a long day.the waitress was great but it took 45 mins for bringing food! I ordered ab Elk burger, but it was dry, more than well done. It could be served more juicy!Probably get back to try other food in their menu.
Had lunch at the Elk and Oarsman Thursday August 10th and had a great meal after walking to the lake Agnes tea house. Lots of Pub favorites with a local twist and the beer menu had some good local beers worth trying.
Good food and friendly and prompt service. Generous portions. I had the elk pizza. Hubby had the burger and kiddo had the fish and chips. All very tasty.
Pretty good pub food. The elk on the poutine was really good, and I enjoyed the gravy. The wings were piping hot and pretty tasty. Pretty good, would probably go back.
The best part about this place was the Caesars and sangria after a morning of hikes. The host was inattentive, waited almost 10 minutes before he acknowledged us and that’s only Because we said hi to him. Didn’t have to wait as long as he said for seats on the rooftop and the view was beautiful. The food was not good though. The broccoli and cheddar soup was more like cream of celery? Couldn’t eat it as we weren’t sure what it was. The pesto chicken sandwich was bland and the pesto had a weird taste to it. Steak sandwich was to be medium, came out well done. This place would be fun for drinks on the rooftop but that’s all I’d go back for.
The pizza here is absolutely amazing, most bars are hit and miss when it comes to that. Adding that the service is engaging, kind on the eyes, and funky decor.
First time here, but not the last! Enjoyed immensely the elk meatballs and grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup. Service wAs super fast! Loved everything about the place!
