Visited here back in July, it was Tuesday and the place was packed, I have never been here before so I asked the server what he recommended, he suggested the elk burger, so I gave it a shot , other at the table went for pastas , and there was another elk burger.The restaurant has a nice feel, the typical banff rustic look, very comfortable, the server was very good, answered all the questions with patience and humour, even though I am sure hes heard them a thousand times.The food when it came was average at best elk burger tasted very bland, their pasta was over cooked and kind of bland as well, over all i enjoyed the evening, server was fun and the place was cool, but food was left wanting,
Very casual pub like restaurant, the servers are great. Fortunately, the steak sandwich was in the specials on the day I visited and it was amazing. The server always gave me a steak sauce which added to the taste. The other thing was pasta primavera with chicken. The pasta was well mixed in the sauce so it was great to taste. Overall – 4/5.
