Loved their Double Chocolate Cake, not too sweet. A slice is good for two. Perfect match for coffee or tea. Good for afternoon tea or snacks.
My coffee (the medium/dark) was a bit sour and was nothing special. Food was good but overpriced. I tried the turkey panini, salmon bagel, and cream of broccoli soup. I recommend the soup.
Good coffee. Was looking for a good dark roast when we were in Banff, found it at Evelyn’s.Our kids loved the hot chocolate.
OK – Not the best Coffee, try David’s Tea Company instead. Husband and I tried Evelyns Coffee, and was recommended a big latte drink. Thought it was cool to have it in a large cup, and the flavor notes were there, but it was overall really bitter, and wasnt our favorite coffee place on the trip. Prices range around $3-6 for a drink. They do offer free Wi-Fi and its always a lively crowd inside, but while the baristas were polite, they did give weird looks to us. Overall, its okay, but I suggest Davids Tea Company if you want unique flavors, teas and coffee. Its similar to Teavana (for those who know of it) in set up, but a little better in my opinion.
Felt far overcharged for poor coffee. Was in Evelyn’s today and ordered a large pepperment mocha with half the amount of syrup. When my drink came to just under 7.50 I inquired into why. They were wanting to charge me an extra $1 for a half pump of syrup . I have had coffee here before and know that it is almost not worth stopping so when i heard this I cancelled my order and headed over to Starbucks. Although I like to support local establishments I also like to feel that I am not overpaying.
POOR SERVICE! We ordered regular coffees. Most of the coffee pots were empty. Staff was slow to fill new pots. No cream was available. Asked staff to refill the container. They only had whipping cream available. In the end the coffee still was not good. Will not be returning.
Blagh!. I just tried to eat the worst quiche I’ve ever tried here. I couldn’t finish it. Glad it was on special and I didn’t waste alot of Money on it.
