I have been here a few times as we stop in after a round of golf for a bite. Food has always been very good and well presented. Service has been good as well, relaxed and unhurried but good.The view is one of the most spectacular in Banff. Looking out you can see all the incredible views the golf course was built around.
Room with a view. It took some finding as the address is that for the Banff Springs Hotel. But when we found it, we found a place with spectacular views of the mountains and the golf course. Our table looked over the 18th green with a mountain range in the background.The staff were very friendly and we very much enjoyed our meal. I tried the smoked brisket and for about the fifth time in Western Canada my wife had the wild salmon. Both were done to perfection. Each comes with a choice of side dishes and we chose sweet potato fries and collard greens, a dish we had never heard of before. Very tasty.
