Fun! You will have so much fun! Great place to go out with friends. They have amazing live music! It’s right in the heart of downtown and the crowd is always ready to party.
Seems like a good little drinking spot but dinner was only passable. Although it wasn’t very busy service was slow and our food (all of it, especially everyone’s fries) were cold. The exception was the fish in Mr. Hitter’s fish dinner which was really good with a nice crisp batter. Mrs. Hitter’s veggie portobello burger was surprisingly good for a pub veggie burger even though it wasn’t hot or cheese melted. The side ceasar salad was very boring, small and lacking any kind of creamy dressing. Momma and Poppa hitter had steak sandwiches which they described as ok but not outstanding. Fry portions also small. Room for improvement but not bad if you’ve been drinking there all day first and are already nice and turnt.
Really good fish n chips! The batter was thin, flavourful, and crispy. The fish was supple, moist and flakey. It probably one of the few places that do a good fish n chips! Damn I want some now
The place you end up at the end of the night. Drinks are not the greatest. What a bunch of strange people in one place. A lot of older people. Live music is usually awesome!
Bad service and drinks, I would not recommend this place to anyone. The drinks tasted like the glasses were not washed and the server was rude.
We ordered the French onion soup and Perogy pizza. Pizza was quite over done, soup was pretty good. LOVED the Jenga game and sitting in the comfy chairs! Till next time!
This place needs to pick up its game. It has a lot of potential to be a great pub with live music. However, when we visited here we got the worst waitress. She was very rude, and really slow. The food itself was also a let down. How hard is it to make good nachos? The nachos we ordered weren’t layered, and the toppings were a little thin. If you’re in Banff, you’re better off going to St James Corner if you want that same style of pub.
