Visiting Banff for the weekend and wanted to try a local pizza place…did takeout from Smashed Tomato and was very disappointed. The pizza was lukewarm when it arrived and very bland and dry…not enough sauce. If that wasn’t bad enough they gave us the wrong sauce on our chicken wings and they were also dry and overcooked. Next time we’ll just stick with Domino’s.
Bland at best. Just ordered take out pizza from Smashed Tomato and was quite disappointed. The crust was thick and it had lots of cheese, but that’s as good as it gets. Neither the pizza sauce, nor the pesto had any flavor and mozzarella cheese hardly contributes to taste. This place came highly recommended but I cannot concur. Will stick to the best pizza in town at Carlitos from now on.
