Rated as highly as it was, I guess I expected more. The service, while friendly, let us down a bit and included getting the wrong meal and was very slow – which we were advised the reason was the cooks were struggling (not always good team work to throw your mates under the bus). The fitout is exciting and open and has a great modern and warm feel to it. The food was ok. While I was expecting something special with the main food line being something made with bison – there was nothing unique. The fresh trout was dry and over cooked. The bison dishes were ok but as I said, nothing special, just bison cooked the same as a mid-level steakhouse. Seating was ok. The deserts where a disaster – some items where not available and the chocolate cake tasted like it had been saved from the bin – very average. The three ratings is because the fitout is very good.
