Great place. I always stay at the delta but i never have eaten here. Tonight was my first time there. The food was perfect. Great elk and very good specials. One member of our group is a vegetarian and they even had a special menu which we never found anywhere else. The vegetarian menu looked so good some of us ordered off of it. After my group of seven had all eaten and finished a few bottles of wine we sat for coffee with no rush from the staff. It was great atmosphere and i will make sure i always stop at the evergreen. The price is completely reasonable and worth every penny.
Excellent service, superb food!! Do not miss on a banff visit! Interiors could use a revamp but you won’t find better when iit comes to the food.
Delicious food! Beautiful presentation. This restaurant features modern twists on classic dishes. Their roasted chicken is a superb! Great Children’s menu plus kids eat free! Also a vegetarian menu is available with vegan options as well. If your a vegetarian you won’t be disappointed, the menu options are simple and delicious! I give this hidden gem in Banff 5 stars.
We had another fantastic meal at The Evergreen last night. The food was great as always, service was attentive and the restaurant was clean and cosy. Easily our favourite restaurant whenever we visit Banff.
We ate here for the Bon Appetit menu in November and it was amazing! Great service first of all.We had the pork belly and mussels to start. The pork belly was incredible, so fatty and tender, yum! The mussels were also delicious and huge!The entrees were really big and filling so we couldn’t finish them (needed room for dessert). We had the beef and the stuffed chicken, both were awesome and perfectly cooked. The sticky toffee pudding was the best I’ve had but the strawberry shortcake was a bit dry.Definitely recommend!!!
Service was great. Food was amazing. Nice classy atmosphere with attentive but not over the top staff. The meal was one if the better meals I’ve had in a while with great presentation. I’m impressed and will come back. Go for the sticky toffee pudding.
Best steak. My husband and I went to the Evergreen restaurant in February 2012 as we recieved a coupon fron the hotel we were staying at. We had the Ceaser Salad with a poached egg and we both had steak with my husband having the bigger cut. The server was very attentive and polite. For dessert we had the homemade cookie dough ice cream. I have been talking about this restaurant since we ate there. The food was simply amazing and my toes still curl when I think about it. The presentation, the taste and service were spetacular! A definate place to go when in Banff.
