Came here for our anniversary dinner as a way to try a new restaurant in banff (our default is the grizzly house). Husband ordered the wagyu spaghetti and meatballs which was good, but not for the price they were asking. Also with wagyu beef – do you really want to grind it up and smother it with marinara? I ordered the bison filet which was good, but again not for the price they were asking. It is a nice restaurant but I dont think well be back as their prices are not indicative of the food they serve.
We were able to get a seat here when all other places we wanted to go to were booked out. The overall presentation and ambience is nice, but we were sat beside a window in the downstairs section that was not properly sealed and it was -27 outside. The seating is comfortable and the service attentive. Wine list is ok. The food is ok. But ultimately, nothing special – just ok.
