They are known for the fondue but also have very good wings. You can enjoy beautiful decor and excellent views of the spray valley. It is very expensive even for Banff and very pretentious.
Just remembered that I had not added this restaurant from a recent trip to Canada. We were fortunate enough to spend a couple of days at the Fairmont in Banff & whilst doing one of the many hikes in the area came across this spectacular find. We returned back to the hotel & decided to book a table for dinner. We were highly delighted with the service & the amazing views, not to mention the old world charm of the decor. The food also did not disappoint. From the baked onion soup with that serious rustic authenticity, through to the rainbow trout with baked vegetables & pilaf. Then the crowning glory of that black forest with meringue & choc sorbet. Still excites my taste buds as I write three months on!! How could I have forgotten to add this ? Only remembered when I was looking back through all those pictures I took
