Great Little Treasure in the heart of Calgary Downtown. I had the tuna melt at this location. It was out of the world. The staff is very friendly and nice. They have a great selection of soups which are made fresh which I try from time to time. Its always good to have a place with reliable food close to my office and with a great service.
Overpriced and sub-par food. I only go to the Blue River Bistro when I am in a hurry as they are close to our office. Their prices are high for what you get and food is only passable. Their soups are 90% onion and generally flavorless. The salad bar is minimal at best.I won’t be returning after today as I specifically asked for No Sweet Chili sauce on the Asian sub, only on the side.Needless to say when I opened the wrapping at my desk, the sub was a sopping mess of sauce and soggy bread. They don’t use the proper crusty sub bread either, just regular bakery bread. $8.50 straight in to the garbage.Not sure how this place stays open.

My favorite is tuna melt sandwitch. Very generous portion of tuna topping baked on baguet bread.. mmmm.. They do have daily specials. Daily special butternut squash soup was pretty impresive for the price. All menu are priced pretty cheap but you’ll find good quality freshly cooked food. Service was prompt and friedly.
