Fabulous and Fresh. I live nearby and have visited several times – it is always delicious and high quality. I have tried the beautiful rye bread, yummy and salty cheese buns, sweet rum ball, & my top three favourites so far: onion bread, pita bread and (best of all) muesli bread!I have brought bakery-snob friends here and they’ve liked it a lot. I think it’s a great place with lovely staff and excellent prices.I look forward to stopping in again soon.
Awesome place. This is a must visit place if you want to try a taste of Balkan food. It is authentic in every aspect. Like so many people who review the food, burek is a must try. Do not forget, burek goes with plain yogurt or ayron.

Rude cashier. I was standing in line at the bakery yesterday after work – the customer and the cashier wouldn’t stop talking to each other, laughing and also pushing the money back and forth. They were speaking Russian or Polish or something so I had no idea what they were saying, but you could tell they were just chit chatting. This was done in spite of other customers standing in line. I felt there were doing it deliberately as I could see the cashier looking at me from the corners of her eyes but pretended she didn’t really see me. Anyway, I ended up leaving without buying anything. The only good thing I would say about this place was as I was leaving through the kitchen, there was another woman working in the kitchen. I told her I didn’t buy anything because the cashier wouldn’t stop talking. She then offered to get something for me. I replied thanks but no thanks – as I had to get home to my family as I was on my way home from work. I hope that she’ll let the owner know about this.
Tiny taste if the Balkans. Amazing when I’m craving some pita (burek) and don’t have time to make it. It’s a bit expensive actually knowing what these things cost at home but worth it if you enjoy the food or get homesick as I do. The pitas been a little dry a couple times but overall pretty good. Love that they have suho meso, staple in so many things.
Numm num num. I have never really been a big fan of Bakeries, I don’t like the thought of eating dough. I must say though, this place has AMAZING bread… If anyone’s gonna get me on the dough wagon its Shakeer and his AMAZING breads. I personally love the Nordic Rye now, I get it at least once a week. They made my boyfriends birthday cake a few months ago and it was SPECTACULAR. Super rich, fresh, and just plain amazing. This is definitely our go-to place on Sunday morning…. and any day of the week for that matter. It makes me feel like I’m walking into a mini Italy every time I go in there, really warms my heart. You need to try this place out.
Good bread. They make good bread and kifle, tasty potato burek and nice sandwiches. Not too crazy about the cakes and desserts though, too sweet in my opinion.
