Do they look delicious to you? Haha, they tasted also so so. I am not even bothered to write details. Not going back for sure for the food! maybe for beer only!?
This was my first time coming here with my friends and my boyfriend. The music was way too loud and the service was a little bit slow. The food menu seemed pretty decent however, I didn’t order anything. Seeing the brewery when you first walk in, was pretty cool! I will definitely come back again and actually try the food and everything!
We were all in the mood for burgers, so we popped in for a sit down and a taste of their beer. There is a great atmosphere and a nice menu selection of pub-type foods. I went for a burger, without the bun, which they easily accommodated for, but forgot to add any of the sauces so had to ask for that in the side afterwards. My husband ordered the burger and a tray of taster beers to try out a few. Always a great experience when there is an in-house brewery! Look forward to being back. carlivh.com
Went here for dinner, and it was mediocre. Crispy bits are a must. Quite enjoyable to munch on while you’re having a drink. Bone Marrow was a miss, and Bison Tartar wasn’t very good either. I’d go back for drinks, as their drink menu is very good, but I don’t think i’d go back for dinner anytime soon.
Hit the three-visit mark and I’m still thoroughly impressed. Their beers consistently knock it out of the park, with enough individuality and craftsmanship to be interesting while staying drinkable. Their Dirty Bird Dark Lager is their strongest, with something for everyone, but the Olsch Kolsch B’Golsch is a very impressive kolsch and I hope they keep their IPA#3. Food is excellent; their wings and chicken sandwiches are really nicely battered with good ingredients all around and the blueberry dumplings are an uncommon treat. Good portions and prices to go with the quality. Finally, the place is spacious and it’s easy to find seating. I’ve never had an issue with wait staff attentiveness. Can heartily recommend.
Dropped in looking forward to trying some beer on a weekday around 8 with my wife. Place was very quiet with no buzz. Sat down outside on the patio and got completely ignored for 10 minutes by totally disinterested server. Got up and left, totally unnoticed and unchallenged. Nothing else to say.
Came here with a group and sat on the patio during happy hour on a Friday. Had the meat balls and the grilled cheese with beet ketchup. The meat balls were served in a tasty tomato sauce with a piece of baguette and the grilled cheese comes as three mini sandwiches with caramelized onion. Both appys were very good. Really hope to try more of their food.Atmosphere on the patio is very nice. Great spot for a drink and a bite in the beltline.
