Great place for some classic cocktails. It’s on the pricy side but every drink is a double. I’m a fan of the atmosphere, including the funky bathroom setup. Don’t come as a big group, you won’t get a seat!

Update to the original review: On our most recent trip to Milk Tiger they had an expanded menu with about 18-20 items, much more than on our original visit…I’ve updated the rating to reflect this.BTW: We had the charcuterie board, it was tasty and a great value for the amount of food.__________________________________TL,DR: Good service & space, great cocktails, but you’ll probably want to eat elsewhere.Milk Tiger offers an extensive cocktails list and a devotion to all things boozy, so naturally I felt right at home!Cozy and cool, but not pretentious… it’s a great place to enjoy some pre or post-dinner drinks. The concept is the same cocktail-centric one as Proof and PRLR, but Milk Tiger has an aura that feels less hipster-ish than these much newer competitors. Milk Tiger is cozy like a small pub, and very much the opposite of nearby mega-pubs like National, etc: with good service, crafted beverages in a relaxed and comfortable setting.Do not come to Milk Tiger hungry! On our visit the menu had exactly 5 items: nuts, olives, pretzels, bruschettta, and cheese… great as accompaniments to your beverages, but not a substitute for a proper meal.

Such good cocktails!. This place is nice, has an awesome staff, and often friendly patrons. Tried the Monk’s Revenge cocktail. Delicious! Not so into the menu (not a huge dairy eater) but would go for drinks when I want to treat myself or a friend. Good date spot (if it’s not a busy, loud night).

Boozariffic. Best old fashion in the 17th ave area . Love the huge drinks list. Cool atmosphere.

Disappointing – terrible tapas!. We stopped by for drinks on a Friday night. I was expecting a more social atmosphere so was a bit disappointed that is was so quiet. The drink menu was very extensive but wasn’t very appealing to me personally. We ordered bruschetta, mixed nuts and a cheese tray. The bruschetta was disgusting – it tasted like nothing and the crostini they served with it had obviously been prepared hours earlier and was stale, greasy and gross. The nuts didn’t really have much flavour either. The cheese was good but again served with the disgusting crostini. We actually sent the food back it was so terrible. Our waitress was awesome though – she took all the food off the bill and let us eat it. This place is not for me but our waitress was awesome

Best cocktails in the city, served up by staff who treat fine cocktails with respect. The spirits are all excellent quality, the drinks properly built. Ask for a hard shake on your sidecar and you get a gorgeous skim of glinting shards of ice across the top. Suggested drinks; Blood and Sand, The Last Word, or be guided by your bartender and have them suggest something. They have a short menu of bar snacks and light meals. I am assured the food is good, but for me it’s all about sipping an impeccable cocktail. One side note: the blood and sand is made with cherry marnier, rather than cherry heering (which is not sold in Alberta and therefore illegal for them to stock). The result is slightly sweeter than a classic blood and sand, but utterly delicious. Seriously, have a cocktail here, it’s superb.

Great Classic Cocktails. Met my friend here for an after work cap not really knowing what to expect. We were delighted with the classic cocktail menu and tapas selection. The olives are yummy!
