Horrible hosting. Totally unorganized. We are new to the city and were so excited to try this place out since it’s basically a club mixed with a Chinese restaurant… so we hear. Unfortunately, it was the worst part of our night. They left us feeling unwanted and undervalued. We ended up leaving after 30 minutes of getting the run around when it came to being sat. Will never go back! Disgraceful.
Extremely disappointing experience. After a long day of work came into the resaurant to enjoy a meal, and because we took to long to order were asked to leave. Something that I have never seen in Calgary, let alone Canada. I plan on never coming to this restaurant again, after being embarrassed by having the server argue with me in front of other clients.
I called 4 times to place and order for take out they didn’t answer. Very unprofessional and I’m disappointed. I’m never going again. U & me is away better restaurant.
Ordered take out from here today. Chicken wings probably shouldn’t still have feathers on them. So gross. I definitely wouldn’t not recommend Singapore Sams to anyone.
O.M.G guys! This place is frigin’ AWESOME!!Last Saturday I was walking down 11th Ave around 2 in the morning after my massage and found this little gem! Sing Sams was packed and the line to get in was long and sweaty. I managed to slither my way right in between too beautiful chicas. When I finally got inside Sam it was just like my house, it smelt like chinnes food and there was rice and broken chopsticks all over the floor. People were up on their chairs dancing, singing and playing the drums with there chop sticks. When I was in grade six i got 4th place in an air guitar comp and I know everyone could tell because they wouldnt stop watching me. Short story long I had a wicked night! nothin better than wakeing up at high noon smelling like Chicken BALLS.Thanks Sam, See you in Singapore!
What dump. Hadn’t been here for many years and wish I’d left it that way. Was there on a game night and yet were the only people in the place, and now I know why. Disgusting food that was almost inedible and apathetic service. Skip it.
Cautious like. I stopped by a week or so ago after hearing about this place from some of my fellow co-workers. Upon entering, I was greeted by music that really should’ve been half or at least a quarter its volume. The buffet section was only half open and on the open half the items where only half stocked. Of those items that where half stocked, the vast majority where very mediocre. On several items I actually bit into chili peppers that obliterated my palate. That being said, this place has really good ginger beef. There is actually ginger flavor versus just a plain sugary-soy taste. It’s actually so good, that I can overlook the other shortcomings of this restaurant. I’m giving it a cautious like.
