Had a medium pepperoni /mushroom and Hawaiian. Price was fair for non-chain pizza. I really enjoyed it, the sauce is excellent and really stood out, crust is flavourful, just the right thickness, cheese and toppings were pretty balanced but heavier on the cheese. I will be back again.
Sub part service.. Been eating here for years, dine in, take out and delivery. Their food is just okay, except their pizza which is really good, but their customer service is absolutely terrible. From the servers, to the phone, to the managers…. do not expect good service, you will be really disappointed. Oh, also…. she’s is not a topping to them, so if you want a 2 topping pizza and ask for one of the toppings to be cheese, you aren’t allowed. Which I think is baloney.If you feel like dealing with that for above average pizza at a good price, go at it.
Ok so we really enjoyed our brunch as I said in the last post today. It’s 8:00 at night and munchie time kicks In. Figured why not order from papas again for delivery. It took a while for delivery 45 minutes but holy crap was the wait ever worth it. Ordered a basic large ground beef, onion and mushroom pie. Lots of dead cow and onion and shroom, but the best part is the copious amount of cheese. I’m in high calorie, fatty extreme cheese heaven. Yep this place just made its way onto my speed dial list!!!25 Oct, 2014Eating here while I’m typing this. I got the papa burger and fries with gravy the girlfriend God a chicken Cesar. My burger is amazing decked out and even REAL cheese. The fries are perfect golden brown and taste very fresh. The portions are huge and the chicken Cesar is a full garden sized portion with chicken breast. We will be back
Pizza!!. I have had the pleasure of ordering pizza from Papa’s on several occassions..always good!! The crust has always been consistent, light, chewy and with just enough crunch. The toppings always look fresh and are fresh tasting which works nicely with that great tasting crust and the pizza is always covered with a good amount of cheese. I have always prefered home made style pizza’s over those big chains just because they always put that extra into the quality of their pizza’s..if you’re like me Papa’s won’t disappoint!
Another…. Happy Customer – For 14 Years!!!. Excellent Service, Great Pizza and Burger Family restaurant! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are incredibly generous. Love the look of their new menu too. Every time we order delivery, I shot out PAPAs HERE when I see them drive up!!!
Service is friendly and quick. The mushroom and crab starter was not tasty. The mushrooms were nice and the melted cheese was good but the imitation crab in the centre was between lukewarm and cold.The burger (recommended to me by the friendly server) was not good at all. The meat tasted like previously frozen bulk bought and the fries like old oil.I can’t recommend Pappa’s and won’t be back.
Absolutely horrible!!! Didn’t know steak could be cooked so poorly. Stuffed mushrooms, burgers, salad, poutine, soup all a disappointment! Pizza was the only edible food. Tried it because reviews were good…. Perhaps a change of owners, cooks, food supplier? This place is a total miss!
