Great patio space at this Local French speaking restaurant. Friendly and polite staff offer to translate the menu for me. Order a classic croissant and americano to go. Order is ready in a hurry! Americano is just as I like it extra hot and strong flavored. Staff continue to chat with me while preparing my americano. Great local find

As the snow falls and the temperature dips, its hard to find a Patio to enjoy in Edmonton. Enter Cafe Bicyclette! Located in the heart of the French quarter in Edmonton, the Patio offers multiple fire places, heat lamps and blankets! On our first visit we were lucky enough to stumble across the Flying Canoe Volant festival and that heightened this Patio experience. A live DJ in the back ground and even though is was -20 our poutines were great and the french beer was tres bien!Ambiance: 9/10Staff and Service: 8/10Food and Drink: 7/10

I love it here so much! We had the omelette au jambon et edam (ham & edam omelette) which was really good except I found it to be too salty because the egg had some salt and the ham was also salty. However it was really good and presentation was A+. It came with a side of salade pommes de terre (potato salad) which was just baby potato halves with some vinaigrette and herbs, and a side of grapefruit. We also had a sandwich au deux oeufs, bacon, et edam sur croissant (croissant sandwich with 2 eggs, bacon, and edam cheese). It had an herb spread which tasted good but it not a taste that tickles my fancy. We had a cappuccino and that was good as well. I loved the atmosphere here as it’s such a cute place. I love the presentation of the food as well. It’s also not overly pricey for brunch (and there are lots of overpriced brunch places out there). I can’t wait to be back to try their speciale du jour (daily specials) as it looks like they have some reaally appetizing ones as shown on their instagram. They also have little pastries by the counter which looked promising so I may try those next time!

This caf is slightly different in that you order at the counter and they bring your food out to you (rather than the wait staff taking your order at your table). If it’s busy, this feature of ordering can be a little frustrating. But, besides that, the service is excellent and friendly. Kids are happy with the books behind the bench and the many bicycle pictures everywhere. The food is tasty. I’ve had 3 different sandwiches here. The croissant they’re on is flaky and excellent. The insides of the sandwiches have also been excellent. Overall, I really like this caf.

Went on a Sunday around 1PM during the French Quarters Farmers Market. Make sure to have google translate or bring a friend that can read french cause the menu is all in french (the staff speaks english so don’t worry). It’s a order at the till and sit down kind of place where you are able to sit in the patio if you like. We were able to sit outside with a busker playing some music while we enjoyed our brunch. We ordered the bacon eggs Benedict which was divine! Instead of english muffin they used a sesame seed bagel and paired it with a cup of fruit and a nice fluffy croissant. I would love to come back here and try the omelette! lotsofloving.wordpress.com

Nice French cafe with great people and a laid back atmosphere. Was there for breakfast. Good food but very small selection. Pricey for the small portions.
