I used to come here regularly for breakfast and brunch. I returned about two months ago and had a disappointing experience. More recently I took a guest here yesterday for lunch. The prices seemed to be very reasonable as I had a hot sandwich for $10.00. It was just right in size. The sandwich was good, perhaps even better than most, but it wasn’t innovative or unique in any way. It came with nothing but a tiny pickle . Still, I had no complaints. My guest ordered soup with a half egg salad sandwich. She said there was very little egg salad on it. The squash soup was okay but thin and nothing special. She wouldn’t order either one again. Service was friendly although I don’t believe that our server returned after bringing out our meals until we were finished. We didn’t have coffee so I can’t comment on that. I get the impression that the cafe is under new management but I didn’t ask to confirm this. It seems to be a hit and miss situation. I hope that they get things figured out as cafe has been around for a long time. They were fairly busy as our table was grabbed as soon as we left so clearly the Millcreek Caf still has a loyal customer base.
