Dined here twice. While the food was decent the venue wasnt very clean. – The bathrooms in particular were disgusting both times. Thats very telling of their food hygiene and integrity – Not going back.
I ordered the tofu and vegetable vermicelli. Large pieces of deep fried tofu which was nice but there was sauted mushrooms in there as well… which just seems odd for a vermicelli. I was also given a sweet chilli Thai sauce instead of fish sauce? I’m not sure If this was an error or If that’s given because it’s technically a vegetation dish and they didn’t want to give fish sauce? Either way it doesn’t mention it on the menu and it should be asked as an option as I don’t eat meat but I do eat fish so I have no problem with fish sauce. (Really gross to pour sweet chilli on your vermicelli) lol also I ordered green onion cake and I asked if it came with Sambal sauce. The guy on the phone said yes but when I got it home it was also sweet chilli Thai lol. Needless to say there was a lot of sweet chilli Thai sauce happening and it really killed it for me. It wasn’t awful but it seems the dishes are a little confused between Chinese, and Viet styles and flavourings of cooking. Not my cup of tea!
