Came here after cross country skiing. Our server was friendly and did inform us the kitchen was backed up and would be about a 30 minute wait for our food. We were in no rush but it wasn’t full so didn’t really understand how the kitchen could be so behind. Husband ordered the special – porch schnitzel with a bacon and perogie casserole which he enjoyed. I ordered the Yorkshire puddings which were ok, needed salt to help them out though. Fries were mediocre. Was alright.
I like feel of this Saloon, and was excited to come here today to get out of the city for a few hours, but left extremely disappointed. We ordered the nachos which were smothered in cheese so much so that they were sickening. Our server wasn’t very attentive and it felt like we were bothering her by being there. It’s too bad because my husband and myself were looking forward to our visit, but sadly will probably not be back.
