Ive been to Jamesons multiple times now, and every time is okay. Very average pub, but my friends and I usually go due to the cheap food and drink specials! The last time I went was sunday morning for the brunch, we notified our server we were in a slight rush. She took her sweet time to take our orders, and hand them into the kitchen. We all ordered the same thing, eggs benny, after sitting there for an hour, we kindly asked for our food to be packed to go. They packed up our food, but did not include napkins or cutlery. The eggs were cooked wrong, the food was soggy and the hollandaise was gross. This trip ruined my experience, I will not be returning.
Hey folks, I’ve been to Jameson’s several times, and it’s usually been OK, you know, average food … but this was the first time I’ve ever had the bison burger … and man oh man, it was awful … I’m 60 plus, so I’ve been to the rodeo before, as they say, I’ve had burgers all my life … but this was the first time I had one that tasted bitter and awful … I forced myself to eat half of it, then gave up … and when the server came around, I complained, but she downplayed it, saying it was likely the cranberry sauce(?) … at that point, she did nothing to try to rectify the situation … I could have made a big fuss, escalated it, but I had a few beers and my friends and I were having a good time — I didnt want to upset the evening … so here I am at home, with an awful feeling in my tummy, hoping the bison isn’t planning on revenge … worse yet, I’m hungry! … and we spent $100 in this joint! … look, this is an OK place, the servers are all nice and friendly, even tho a bit youngish — just don’t order the bison … and if there’s an NFL draw, make sure your waitress gets you an entry form — ours didn’t, so we missed out on the draw for a free jersey …
Their gourmet breakfast items are incredible. Very innovative dishes with pulled duck or ham, other innovative ingredients are fiore di latte, potato wedges, essence of truffle in their hollandaise sauce. Love their breakfasts.The coffee could be better, it’s consistently weak and could be stronger.Otherwise, their breakfasts keep me coming back once a month at least.Well done!
Love the setting, it’s as close to an authentic Irish pub as it gets in CTown. Beautiful wood work, cozy booths, some have TVs. Food is decent — I wish it was more authentic but it’s a common complaint. I’ve spent time in the UK and I know what authentic pub food is — chicken wings aren’t. That said we went on mussels night. Over cooked — I’m not expecting gourmet — but the price was right and they hit the spot.
This place has pretty good pub food and a decent menu selection. I had the veggie burger on a pretzel bun and although very tasty – was hard to eat because it was stacked so high. The food came out quickly and the waitress was nice and fun to talk to.The prices were decent too for the quality/portions you get. (14 + tax for the veggie burger & side) If I was in that neighborhood again I’d return.
Decent pub food, we came here to watch the game. Got seated quickly. Our food came out quickly which was surprising since it was a packed house. The Mac and Cheese could use some more seasoning or baked longer
Not bad. Went to watch UFC they put us right below the tv had to put my chair back and looked up. But there are good spots, bad lucky I guess. The food is good, fair portion. Couldn’t finish the Mac and cheese. Big Nachos to share. Standard options of beer.
