You need to take note that not all of their dishes are available every night. In fact it’s probably better to ask what IS available. So that was very disappointing and has probably biased me because I couldn’t get the dishes I normally like. However, the dishes they did have were decent. Tasted fresh, naan was great (upset they didn’t have roti…) I did find the meat dishes a little too heavy on sauce, and too little meat. Otherwise decent.
Saffron is one of our favourite places to eat in town. The fact that not all of the dishes on the menu are available on any given day caught us by surprise when we first came here, but whatever they have for the day is always fantastic and very fresh.Some of our favourite dishes here are the saag paneer and the veg samosas. They are both flavorful and delicious. The rice and the garlic naan are also excellent.For the price you pay, you get a very generous amount of food, which will usually last a few meals.
Saffron Takeout. Love the food very tasty but service is a bit slow but thats because everything is freshly made worth the wait. Go back again.
Great take out. We live near this restaurant and really love to take out this food. I like that the dishes differ every day, I’ve tried more variety. Naan is so awesome, butter chicken is good, samosas are fantastic. Food is fresh and hot and they’re really very friendly. Thanks Saffron!
Ridiculously slow. Not going back, super slow and unorganized no matter if you call ahead, choose from their daily menu, or even if you’re the only one there. 15 minutes into waiting they might even tell you one dish isn’t ‘quite’ ready – and they call it a take-out?
I have actually tried every item on the menu, never had anything I dint like! Fresh food, great taste and reasonable price – can’t ask for more!! 🙂
AMAZING!!. Have been eating here for a long time now and am constantly impressed by the quality of saffron’s food! The prices are great considering the amount of food you get in the entree size and the customer service is five star. Nice family run business, I would definitely recommend this joint to every Indian cuisine lover.
