After bailing on Tony Tomas due to 2 huge tables sitting before is we decided to stop in Banzai. The sign on the door from AHS that said resturant was in satisfactory status almost stopped us. We were running out of time. We ordered the super bowl and Mali combo b. The owner was super friendly to the guy in front of us pulling out the loyalty stamp card. When we asked for the same he shut us down.. no stamp for you! You used coupon. Wow see if we come back again. The super bowl was fine but the Maki rice was dry and flavorless. portions were small especially the ginger. When asked for more ginger for the Maki they said it’s usually .50 but she would give it this time. Literally there s 3 types of rolls but only 3 pieces and the amount of ginger was lacking. There’s better places to have a roll or two… ie t n t down the road.
Worst sushi experience Ive ever had. Paper thin sushi. Music cutting in and out. Tempura batter was dark, musty, and fried in stale oil. Less than a teaspoon of ginger and wasabi served on each plate of sushi. The Super Bowl was advertised as coming with kimchi and again, only 1 tsp of kimchi was served. All of our food smelled slightly off and we couldnt finish our food because we were both so nervous about getting sick. What a waste of $40.
