At the Ions Head pub today. This sports pub is filthy. Sticky tables, dirty glasses, filthy rugs and disappointing service. Had to ask to get the tables wiped twice and they did a terrible job. Disappointing stop.
I am staying at the Radisson on business and decided to eat dinner at the Lion’s Head Pub tonight. The service is good. The servers are fast and friendly. The room itself is clean but a bit old. Truthfully, the whole hotel comes off as dated so the pub decor was to be expected. For dinner, I chose the ribs with a side kale salad. The ribs were ok. They were tender but the sauce was overly sweet. The description said that it came with corn on the cob and a fennel slaw. The slaw contained no fennel. It tasted like bagged cabbage dressed with something from a bottle. Also, corn is not in season in Canada and it tasted that way…. mealy and dry. The meal with a couple drinks and tip was $50. A bit over priced. I think tomorrow I will venture out and find a better option.

Went in on a Saturday and was surprised to see that they have $5 all you can eat wings! The wings were a little small but at $5 I’m not complaining. The servers were awesome as well. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Our server told us about the huge craft beer list. Very impressed
Tuesday night haunt. Me and a few buddies head here every Tuesday! We mostly come here cos the service is awesome, it’s reasonably priced and the food is good.The staff really seem to love working there and it shows…. See you on Tuesday guys!!
I work around the corner from this place and I really enjoy it. The service is always friendly and efficient. I like the British feel to the menu, there’s some things that you just don’t see at other pubs! As a negative the patio could be better, it gets a lot of fun at peak times but feels a little car parkish. I do really like it in here though! Good job guys.
Used to be good. I work nearby and have been to the lions head many times. I used to tell my friends that this place had the best beef dip in the city. They also used to do fish and chips really well. I no longer say such things. I don’t understand why the food took such a nosedive over the past year. It’s too bad I really used to enjoy this place.
