This cafe is an absolute gem! The girl serving us was absolutely lovely and the London Fog I ordered was delicious. The Mexican treats were also really tasty. My only complaint is that it’s not located in my part of town.
This cozy cafe rests in the heart of the Bridgeland community, and is an unassuming place to grab a cup of coffee and some delicious Mexican baked goods. It seems like they put a lot of care into considering their roasts, and I found the service to be quite friendly. I ordered a latte and thought it was done quite nicely, with strong earthy tone, which balanced well with the consistency of the milk. I thought that it was a little light in texture during the first few sips, but the rest of the coffee was quite enjoyable. An interesting spot to catch up with friends over some caffeine and treats!
Good ol’ neighbourhood joint. There’s some great coffee coming out of this yellow house. They roast in-house and the quality is evident. The Mexican wedding cookies are a perfect little accompaniment. Just wish they were open past 5pm…
AHH a Taste of the Old Country. The coffee here is for those who prefer the best of the best. If you know what real coffee should taste like then this is one of the best if not the best in Calgary!
Not fresh. If you only go there for coffee is good. Don’t try the breakfast sandwiches. It was supposed to come with avocado, but it was black. And when asked the girls just said she doesn’t buy the ingredients.
I love it there. Coffee is fantastic, service is good, and the food is real and delicious – try a quesadilla. Prices are very reasonable as well.
Great nest egg sandwich. Good burrito. Other people in our company enjoyed their empanada. Nice light breakfast option!
