One of our random adventures ended up at Dragon Garden. This mom and pop restaurant is mainly catered to take out but we decided to try the dine in option. The lady here is super nice. The food here is a western style which is not my preferred taste. We ordered 2 dishes beef with ginger and onion, and salt and pepper squid, scallops and shrimp. The beef with ginger lacked authenticity with heavy usage of soya sauce (not good). The salt and pepper seafood had a good mix of shrimp, scallops and squid (not as heavily battered) but lacked flavor and seasoning. Prices here are average. Rating here is based on kindness / service.
Food is good, and the service is BY FAR the friendliest I have encountered in Calgary. Great people, good prices. Highly recommended. I regularly travel across town (from the extreme NW) to go to Dragon Garden.
