I love this market! Its listed as an Asian grocery store but it really caters to Korean foods. They have a great selection of fresh and frozen meats/ seafood, ramen and kimchi. It looks a bit cluttered and not super clean but the staff have all been friendly and Ive been able to find some great products for some Korean dishes. They also have a little cafe inside where you can get Korean street food to go or to sit in and enjoy.

Really liked the fish waffles 5 for $5. There was a lady in front of me who ordered the same thing the cashier let her pay after the waffles were done, but when it came to me I had to pay first just because she’s Korean too she was ok with paying after? Lol. Overall I liked the items and the store is pretty awesome a little pricey but ok. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.. FIX IT PLZ.

I wish I could swear on here. It’s hard for a grocery store to score bad cause the customers do everything themselves, the only help we usually need is for the cashiers to take our money and bag the damn foods and this place fails to do that. Came here from out of town, bought over $200 worth of stuff and the young stubborn Korean girl did not do ANYTHING to help. She even had the nerves to tell me to move out of the way bag everything myself… Move where? On the damn floor? The place is small as it is, the worker really pissed me off. Never coming back, because of her.

So I came here one day while looking for the super spicy Korean noodles (not for the challenge, mainly because I enjoy them) and I realized they had a restaurant in there. So of course, I decide to get kimbap as it is one of my favorite foods. The kimbap itself was plain, and the rice did not have as much flavor as I would have liked compared to my other favorite kimbap place. As well, it was not made fresh and was just left in the display fridge. Not something I would return for. It was not terrible just that I definitely noticed the lack of flavor after inserting the first piece into my mouth.

Moldy smell in the produce fridge. Bought a box of mandarin oranges today and most were rotten and moldy. Not even a single sorry from the manager. Apparently he has to much pride.

This is a great little grocery store to get your essential korean and Japanese items. I like coming here to get the pork & squid in the meat dept that is already marinaded for up and you just have to cook it and serve with rice. Just like at the restaurants. They have beef bulgogi and frozen pork belly for you to take home and prepare yourself. There are lots of fresh produce, sauces, condiments and snacks that you would not find at regular grocery stores.

Very interesting grocery store. This placed has opened up for a while now; we finally decided to check the place out.We went close to noon on Sat., and it wasn’t that busy inside. EMart states it is Korean/Japanese grocer, but we noticed it was predominantly Korean (this place reminds me of the other Korean grocer on 10th Ave SW).Place was clean, organized, and chockful of mysterious yet wonderous goodies, from candy, cookies, and noodles (I didn’t know there was soooo many varieties of udon). There is also fresh vegetables and an in house butcher. They had some really nice looking short ribs (I didn’t see the usual short ribs used for korean bbq, but more the braised kind). The waffle house was open, but the eatery beside it was closed. We didn’t buy anything this time around, but I’m positive the next time we go we’ll pick up some items that we certainly don’t see in the usual grocery stores.
