My husband was nice enough to bring me home a sandwich from this cafe, he had the turkey bacon which he had said was pretty good. I get into my spicy Italian and there were two thin slices of cappicola…9$….two pieces of meat. I have never experienced such a thing. Pretty disappointing…I tried to call in instead of writing this review but no answer 🙁
1 $ for price? Wrong. I am Italian and the so called Italian food is horrible. Not even restaurants charge 19$ for a serving of lasagna but francesco’s does. Granted it’s a probably two servings but price is ridiculous, oh and if you would like butter try the carrot cake because it seems like thats all you can taste, good luck I hope your experience is better than mine better yet go to a real Italian store01 Aug, 20141 $ for price? The customer service on this place SUCKS. They spend there time bantering back & forth with each other(including the owner) like a bunch of teenaged geeks. It’s pathetic. I will,not be back.04 Jun, 2013Really disappointed when I went in the other day. We walked in & apparently disrupted the owner as he stood at the front counter texting, rather than say hi, hello or good afternoon, he looked to from his phone obviously annoyed & then continued to text. You would think owning a cafe that he would know that customers make your business & with out them your business will fail. He obviously doesn’t care enough about his cafe or the people who go there to simply greet them as they walk in the door. We won’t be back.
Great neighbourhood cafe. Hope this cafe sticks around. After renovating the previous business of the same name, new ownership has turned this place into a more coffee-focused Euro grocer. They serve great coffee, without the pretension, from a few regional roasters. There is a little bit of everything here. Sandwiches, deli meats, cheeses (a couple local ones), Hutterite chickens/eggs, BC apples, as well as bulk coffee beans and loose teas. The espresso beverages can’t be beat at these prices, really.Whether you’re looking for lady fingers and mascarpone or a cappucino you’ll be able to find something delightful–right here in Killarney.

Delicious Home Made & Friendly. I took my 4 & 6 year old with me to check out Francesco’s and had a delighful experience. We really enjoyed the grilled cheese featured that they created in response to their new neighbors 4 Cats Studio’s grand opening.My favorites so far included the fresh tomato basil soup. Their cheese monger offered to add Tete de Moine from Switzerland to my soup and it was divine. I’ve also enjoyed the Earl Grey Cookies and Jasmine tea that I brought home. We’ll be back!
