Not bad for Chinese take out. We tried them with Skip the Dishes. All the food came hot which was a pleasant surprise. We had Spring rolls, Shanghai beef noodles, salt and pepper squid and dumplings. The spring rolls were really good – light and flakey batter. Squid was ok in texture and flavour but a bit too salty. Noodles were good. Dumplings were just ok – Ive had better and worse. The batter was a little thick. I would likely order again from Jolly Good.
We ordered the Almond Chicken, Cantonese Chow Mein, and Wor won ton soup. All was tasty, not too salty, and arrived hot in about 35 minutes. We would order from here again. The only thing I found interesting was that the chow mein noodles were slightly thicker than other places. More like a ramen noodle kind of. I do prefer a thinner noodle but it was still good.
