These guys serve the most authentic and tasty Lebanese cuisine in Calgary. Had the Kafta plate which was filling and diverse is flavour. The prices are reasonable and the customer service is great.
I used to live in this country and the meat is what it should taste like, properly marinated and rich. Well done, I am glad that Canada has a legit place like this.
This is a legit shawarma place. great tasting chicken with amazing wraps. They make it all on their own, you can tell it’s quality workmanship while it’s made behind the glass. You know it’s good when you can finish a large shawarma, you just keep diving into it, the last bite is like the first bite – good all the way. I also like their friendly owner guy, he’s knows how to keep his customers happy.
I love this little spot. So much to choose from. The family/staff there are so friendly. I love their garlic sauce, it’s amazing. I feel they really put alot of love into all their baked goods.
I don’t understand why this place has such high ratings. It’s not terrible, but it’s not even close to being the best shawarma place in this city. For starters, their chicken has a mushy texture and the sauce they use is way too thick. The taste is OK, but it really isn’t anything special. The best word to describe it would be ‘bland’. The most frustrating thing about their shawarma is that they are not wrapped properly. I went with a friend and despite being expert shawarma eaters, we still made a huge mess. Also, chicken wasn’t hot… it was barely warm. I wouldn’t eat here again unless I was in the area and starving.
Stop by for a late quick lunch. This place is always good and consistent. They renovated and now there is a place to sit down and eat. Before it was mainly order and go. The donair are yummy and so are the chicken shawarma. I got a side of 6 pc.falafel and they always give you a free baklava for your order. So awesome since it’s always my fav and my husband always give me his baklava! 🙂
