Very delicious! The Pancit isn’t my favourite from here, but everything else I’ve had definitely is. It is my go to place for when I’m craving Filipino food. Amazing Turon =)
Mixed Feelings. I went here once and the food looked really good. A bit on the pricey side for Filipino food so it seems on the menu. It probably tastes good but the problem I had was the lack of customer service. Like there was not a welcome nor did the lady have a smile on her face. So it’s a mixed review. I’m sure if the customer service was better and the prices a little bit cheaper then people would be welcome and would like to go here. Perhaps even tip. Plus another thing is that maybe people would like to eat there? Why isn’t there tables for a little snack? Just out of curiosity…
BBQ is good, but bad customer service!
Tradition of excellence. Lolit continues a tradition of great Filipino food started in Calgary by sister Rosing. really good dinuguan (blood pudding), pork bbq, embutido (meat loaf), sisig (chopped pig head and liver), empanada, etc. i must have tried everything they’ve offered and it’s all very good! many people order from them not only party food but also everyday meals.
Great place. Very friendly staff. They took their time and described what each dish was. The pork skewers were great. And the empanadas were eaten immediatley. Nice to see more diverse resturaunts in calgary.
Good food but bad customer service. I went to this place this morning for the first time with my family and had the worst customer service (surprisingly) by the filipina tending the store. I went to buy a few items and had to ask the lady about each of the food but she was not even looking at me and was lazily answering yes or no. She did not acknowledge any of us as we entered the store and we were the only customers in the store. She wore a grumpy face, showed impatience and irritation with my questions about their food and products. When I was paying the items I selected, she heard my hubby speak spanish and that’s the only time she even look at us and started giving attention and interest. Apparently, her son-in-law or so, is from Nicaragua and she was quite interested with Latin American. This lady was very rude and sad to say, she didn’t seem interested when the customer is a fellow filipino. This is the only filipino store in Calgary, which resented visiting. Hopefully she reads this and will change her attitude, what a shame, because the food is ok for filipino taste.
