I feel really bad that I’m about to write a nasty review because I’ve never done this before.More than anything, I’m really disappointed in Seasons. We’ve been there a couple of times and have never had a good experience, yet we continued to return because we wanted to support our community and a local business. Unfortunately, this is the last time we will be going. My husband and i wanted to go for a nice dinner, ordering drinks and our main dinner items. My husbands food arrived promptly… and mine never arrived. No one came to check how the dinner was going.45 minutes later, our waiter came around to ask if he could grab us any desert or coffee. I asked if I could have my dinner. We asked to speak to the manager, and they simply stated that they hope we return since we are locals…They didn’t offer to comp the meal or even offer a discount. Since we are a small community, we talked to many of our neighbors. None of them had ever had a good experience and stated that they too would not be able to support Seasons again. It’s unfortunate because it really is in a beautiful location. But, if you’re looking for a half descent dining experience, save your money and go elsewhere… anywhere else. My to go food was a huge disappointment as my halibut was jelly like in the center. In addition, if you’re a family with young children, they do not offer a change table in any of their bathrooms. Sort of a big deal if you want an outing with the family. The staff offered that i could change my baby on the floor or in the public washroom.I do not seeing this place lasting long term unfortunately.

This meal was not good at all. I ordered the halibut for $38. There was a tiny piece of overcooked, unseasoned fish on a bed of cabbage with frozen peas and carrots on it. Lovely location, but terrible meal. Staff provided no compensation, but said that there were so many complaints of this nature that they were going to revamp the menu. Who knows what the new menu will be like, but at this point, you are definitely taking your chances!

Lovely atmosphere, friendly and warm service. Cocktails were good. The food unfortunately was a HUGE miss. The menu sounded promising, but it just didnt deliver.

I feel inclined to write a review even though we only came here for drinks after a beautiful afternoon of skating. The reviews Ive read about the service were horrible so I was hesitant to even walk in, but they must have changed the staff recently because all of the ladies working were extremely welcoming and friendly! We sat on their patio (because where else has a winter patio in Calgary) that overlooks the ice and it fully equipped with heat lamps and blankets. It was gorgeous and so much fun to watch the skaters! The menu was quite pricey and didnt have a ton of selections but the atmosphere and experience is well worth it. The interior was very very nicely decorated but I dont think u can go wrong with the view outside Id go back for sure and give the food a shot!

Had a very pleasant experience here. The staff was pleasant and the food was delicious. They had just changed the chef and menu. I had the ceasar for drinks and it as good as any. The meatballs for appies was good. The fish pot for main was perfect, the broth was really good if you asked for bread to dip in it. The crme brle was fantastic! I would go back.

Terrible. Great location. Menu reads great but poorly executed. Service was horrible. The waitress was rude and didn’t really know the menu and almost seemed like she was doing us a favour. To be honest. The city should take the lease back and give it to someone more interested or capable.

Poor service all around will ruin this place, which is a huge shame – so much potential. From being ignored when we arrived to being rudely rushed into leaving through passive aggressive tactics and all the poor service in between, our hope for a lovely girls brunch was ruined and frankly, I was embarrassed to have suggested it to my friends. Tis too bad, the food was alright – but none of it matters as the staff were terrible. Everything all the other reviewers expressed happened to us. Until the owners make some changes here, I won’t be returning.
