My first Korean experience was at Seoul Korean BBQ many years back for their hot pot which was delicious. They now offer an AYCE buffet for $32 per person with a variety of items from scrambled eggs to mussels to beef bulgogi. Most of these items are now a self serve (except for the beef ribs and ribeye). My current rating for the food here is average due to flavor and lower quality of the buffet items. For $32 per person it’s probably better to stick to the beef rib eye and ribs. I did however enjoy their seaweed soup which was brothy and flavorful. My recommendation would be to try their buffet items only once to experience the different dishes they offer.
This used to be my favourite Korean spot in town. Now, they have switched to buffet style and removed the a la carte option. I hate buffets and will not be back. Food sitting out and parading to put food on my plate is not of interest. We left and went in search of a new Korean restaurant to replace this one as our go-to. It is a shame, because I have spent a lot of money here in the past.
