I can’t find a good crusty pizza anywhere in Calgary. I am at a loss, this place was recommended but Calgary seems to think a big spicy piece of bologna is pepperoni? I am very confused by this. There were no redeeming qualities, we got asked to move tables, they were out of dessert it was 5 in the afternoon. However the wait staff were decent.

Tiny restaurant with great atmosphere. The pizza is absolutely delicious and there are a variety of specialty flavours to choose from. The crust is very tall, but not dense. It’s light, crispy and flavorful like focaccia. Coming here feels like you’re going to your uncle’s house for dinner if your uncle is an old Italian guy who makes a kick ass pizza.

This is a great little pizza joint. A bit pricey but i figure u are getting what u paid for as the pizza is to die for.The pizza crust might be the best in the city

Not as good as would have hoped. Very expensive pizza. We ordered a 12 inch but added two items and removed one item. This was &4.00 per change.. so basically $39.00 for a medium pizza. Crust was a deep dish. Lots of meat , not much cheese.

Really Good. Came here one evening and ordered the Guiseppe Special, and a small gorgonzola and pear pizza. The crust is thick, but very crispy and light. Definitely still good pizza. Surprising thing is that on a Friday night, the restaurant was not busy. Not sure if the location makes the difference. Service and food definitely a good reason to eat here.

Great pizza. Thick crust, crispy edges and soft inside.

You CAN go home again.. We spent many misspent hours of our youth at Stromboli’s in Kensington and mourned its passing. Rejoice however, because it is back and just as delectable as ever. It is a small and intimate space. The wonderful Tina waited on us and it was a perfectly delightful and delicious evening. The misto salad was fresh and flavourful – but the pizza was the highlight of the evening. The Stromboli’s Special was what dreams are made of. I do write this with reluctance because it will cost me time waiting in line – but it would be greedy to keep this marvellous place a secret. Enjoy! And thanks again to Tina and Martina for superb service.
