Interesting spot. About as authentic as an Irish pub gets in this city, which is setting the bar low. The concept is dated, circa 1996. But I’ve spent time in the UK. There are definitely worse. People are friendly. It’s ideally located. Good spot to pop in and out for a cold one on the way home
The food here has never been good any of the times I have gone. There is potential but something always goes sideways. I have yet to receive a hot plate of food. Something is always cold and or soggy. Not sure if it’s the kitchen or just that the food sits a while before the servers notice the order is ready.
Visited Tipperary’s with some friends for lunch. Its a nice venue with friendly service and decent food. Essentially, we were well looked after which allowed the eight of us to have a great wee visit. Thanks Team Tipperary!
Went in for wings this evening and it took quite some time. The server was quite apologetic and conversational but the bar was taking a long time to pour a beer. One order of wings, and a few rounds of beers was about two hours, with one of those just being the wait to order and receive our wings.Doubt I’d go back unless it was the only place open.
Awesome Wing Night!. Checked the place out with a group of friends on a Wednesday night. Wings came out fast and hot. Service was terrific and the cost was good. No complaints here. Bartender was exceptional and we will be coming back to visit again. Such a great experience!
Sunday service?. Just got back from an awful lunch at Tipperarys. One other table in there but still has to go to the bar to get our own drinks after going through our beers and our back up pints of water with our server still completely oblivious. First food idea came back as they didn’t have the items on abs the second order (2 basic burgers) took 45 minutes to arrive which I could understand if anyone else was there but again, it was near empty. When the burgers did arrive the burgers were half burnt (inedible) and the bun was flattened, burned on the inside and wet on the outside. Server moved quickest when we asked for the bill though. Terrible experience overall and not going back.
Careful what you order. We went in to check out the pub as we just moved into the area. I was driving and ordered a virgin ceaser. When I was finished the waitress asked me if I wanted another Gin ceaser. I said no and she left. Then i questioned what I had heard. I didn’t taste any gin in my drink but our whole table heard her say GIN not VIRGIN. When I asked her if she had mistakenly given me gin, she said yes. I told her I was driving and asked for a virgin. She apologized and gave us a bill charging me for a gin. Not the way I would’ve handled it. Surprised I was even charged for such a huge mistake. Otherwise service was good and it was an honest mistake, I’m just surprised she charged me for her mistake.Our food was typical pub food and atmosphere was typical pub. My food came cold though, but I didn’t bother complaining cause I was starving.Music too loud, which was obvious if the waitress couldn’t hear my order properly. TVs everywhere, which I never enjoy. But I liked he Irish pub booth feel.
