Having a great experience today – looking for a lunch place with my wife that serves good coffee and glad we stumbled on Beamers (downtown location). Harvest Cafe’s loss – as they close so early (3pm!). Had the breakfast sandwich and an Americanno. Not a bad combo … and the view of the south mountains is spectacular! Will come again.

Latte was tasty. Veggie wrap was good; salsa a nice touch. Muffins look fantastic. I probably won’t go back – the service was functional. The young staff seemed like they would rather be elsewhere and the tables remained unwashed for the duration of my visit. My advice-Clean the tables every chance you get. Genuinely engage with customers. Cleanliness and genuinely attentive service makes the food shine.
The bread in the sandwiches is excellent. I prefer it over the Railway Cafe.
Great coffee and lunch or breakfast food. Beamers is a tradition in Canmore. The owners are keen to make sure the service and standard of coffee and food is good – and it is. Cost surprised our kids as it is reasonable. They do all the special coffees and excellent sandwiches, The healthy muffin lasts me a whole day and is moist and full of fruit – really good. Beamers is best.
