I always love coming here when I’m in Canmore. Great food, fresh ingredients, reasonable prices, and great atmosphere. The only downside is that it can be a little crowded and cramped during peak times.
For me its all about coffee and this cute cafe really excelled, I could get a coffee as good as home (New Zealand, flat white). The Happy hour on Saturday was a great way to sample the array of cheeses and other delicious goods while enjoying an evening with friends.
Cute store and cafe combo with excellent food and a good variety of local, national and international products. The Happy Hours are the best; cheese, meat, beer and wine. What Else?
Got a breakfast panini and a coffee and both were excellent. Friendly service and I got a seat right away on a Saturday morning. Will definitely be back.
We have tried their sandwiches/paninis here before but haven’t reviewed yet. So amazingly good and simple. While a bit expensive – $11 per sandwich- there is something to be said for quality ingredients and simple flavours that work. The Italian panini – salumi, balsamic peppers, and provolone – was amazing. The balsamic peppers cut the richness and enhance the flavour of spicy salumi and creamy provolone. The Tacchino is my favourite. Turkey, gruyere, pickled fennel and pesto. The pickled fennel I could eat by the jar and I may try making my own version. And the sandwich as a whole is magical. Amazing paninis everytime and the market is worth a look too.
I would say here every day if I could. I was really impressed with the standard of coffee they serve. It’s so quaint and charming it reminded me of a cafe in Paris. A must stop in Canmore.
So good!. Fantastic Panini’s. The Italiano and the Farmhouse panini’s were incredible. Fresh ingredients, fantastic taste. Service was super friendly and quick!
