Amazing Indian cuisine!! I’ve been to my share of Indian restaurants in Calgary and I have to say, this is some of the best I’ve ever tasted! Prices are very reasonable for the quality.
Delicious! Always consistent! The shrimp korma is to die for and the butter chicken is spot on! I would recommend this place to anyone.Great hangover food btw
The food was great and at a reasonable price. We tried the Aalo Gobi and the Yellow Dahl, both were excellent. The only things that were concerning were that 2/4 of our glasses were filthy and the service was mediocre at best.
We were looking for a little more spice in our than we normally eat and got a lot of it instead. Their medium spicy leaves you burning up. Overall taste was decent. The server charged us for a tiny plate of onions that we’d ordered and that she’d forgotten to serve us. We got it removed from our bill eventually.
The best Indian restaurant in Canmore! But also the only one. Anyway it’s a good place to get your masala and tandoori on when in the Bow Valley. And it was certainly long overdue. I think this was the old Smitty’s? at least the decor would suggest my faded memory is correct…
Delicious! Excellent service! So filling.. The extra naan isnt needed. Chicken masala was great. They did westernize it so of your looking for spice, when the ask, ask for their indian version of spice. Enjoy!!
Seriously some of the best Indian food we have ever had! Started with the veggie pakoras, butter chicken with garlic naan and the Chana masala with rice. Perfect portion between my hungry husband and I. Perfectly spiced. The only thing I would complain about it that it was dreadfully hot inside the restaurant so we ate quick and left. It was like a sauna. Pretty sure they don’t have air conditioning. However, I would totally go back but request to sit on the patio. (It was also like 30 degrees outside).
