My first lunch outside in Calgary was at this bar named Austin’s. We ordered a couple of beers and since we were not that hungry , we just ordered the pizza for which they had an offer. The toppings- onion,chicken, jalapenos were fresh and the part which got me excited was the loads of parmesan cheese. The PisA priced at 17$ is enough to fill up 3 people. Cost for two (4 beers and a pizza) -40$
Great bar with amazing pub food! One of the best in all of Calgary! Who doesn’t love their cheap steak sandwich which is the everyday special! There wings are yummy! Never had a bad meal here! They have an amazing beer selection. Service is always amazing. Vlts for anyone whose feeling lucky!
Needs new staff. Last chance we will give our neighborhood pub. Waitresses are rude and neglectful. Food has been terrible/burnt 8/10 times. Owner needs to get some new staff who care about their business.
Favourite Pub in SW Calgary. My boyfriend and I moved to Calgary about a year ago and Austin’s quickly became our local. The food is consistently fantastic, the service is friendly and the room is surprisingly nice for a suburban strip mall. A bit hard to get a table on weekends, but worth the wait.

Worst experience we have had in a long time.Went for lunch. The server was possibly new, but was just a struggle the entire time. Brought me the wrong drink, completely forgot my friends drink (and then blamed it on the bartender.) I ordered wings, and she asked what side I would like with them. Then asked if I wanted dip… As far as I know your wings come with ranch, not plum sauce which was my option.We ordered our main course after, I had the rigatoni with meatballs. It was absolutely horrible. We all tasted it, and all you could taste was mold. There’s much more to the experience, but I’m done wasting my time writing about this place. Horrible food. And even worse service.
Careful with takeout. I ordered a steak and salt pepper calamari for take out. I only live ten minutes away but was told pick up quick as they had new fries I understood but when we opened the container it was ridiculous!! They piled carrots onions celery (cooked, gray, soggy) onto the fries (one cup of fries max there were many more gray soggy veg) then the steak on top (12.95) in a brown box then tightly wrapped in plastic wrap. I got there and actually waited a couple minutes drove straight home….we opened that container and what a mess!!! Looked like somebody else already had their way with it. The calamari smelled extremely fishy and was cooked way too long. A very dissappointing thirty dollar lunch the garbage got it all. The server was great when I ordered and when I called about the horrible food however they offered a free meal. Not interested
