  So last night we mistakenly took this restaurant for a Szechaun house also located in Inglewood. Walking in the servers greeted us which was nice but seeing there were no Asians here we expected the worse. This restaurant is actually more western style than chinese. We stayed and tried a few dishes here the scallops and gai lan (surprising good with the garlic sauce), sweet and sour chicken (nice lean cuts of chicken breast) and chicken with black bean sauce (tender chicken with flavorful green peppers). I was actually surprised because the food was decent. Dishes were around $15 each. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for the western chinese cuisine.

  I ordered enough to get the free Ginger Beef ($55.00) – it took forever – the food was cold, not all that good. But they charged me for the ginger beef – they said they were too busy to give me a total for what it would cost. When it arrived the bill was WAY higher than it should have been. I said hey the Ginger beef was supposed to be free. the bill was written in Chinese and the delivery guy argued it was not charged. NOT GETTING ANYMORE of MY BUSINESS AGAIN.

  Mediocre.They always seem short staffed with the same lady doing service. She can keep up except when its busy. When its not busy she inconsistently visits the table and rarely offers drink refills. She is very responsive if you ask her directly, but seems to still forget things.The food is good. We have come on 2 occasions. We have ordered, mushu pork, chicken rice, noodles with vegetable, chicken with cashew, sweet sour pork, ginger beef/chicken. While it’s all made well, portions aren’t huge and the price is a little higher than most Chinese. The restaurant is absolutely dead during the week.They aren’t terrible, but there are better chinese places. However like most places in Calgary, they all taste very similar if not the same. I would still return as their quality is fairly consistent.

  Well priced Crab. Everything else pretty expensive. We had to ask for gloves, and snappers, i don’t know why they don’t instinctively don’t bring it out. Small Portions too

  Consistently delicious and really good portions. I’ve been here at least 10 times and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s not your typical North American Chinese restaurant where everything is loaded with salt and sugar.

  Used to be a favorite…… WE have been going to Kam Hans regularly for years. The best Ginger Beef in town. But not last night. Service was ok but the meal was marginal. Ginger beef was sub par and we had to send another dish back. The meal was disappointing – what has happened? New cook? – get rid of him.

  Consistently Delicious. Some of the best Chinese food in town. Honey Garlic Chicken is delicious and the Ginger beef is some of the best I have had.
